Advisory Committee

An all-volunteer Advisory Committee leads the North Carolina Community Garden Partners, and serves as NCCGP’s governing body. Advisorship is a wonderful opportunity to advance the cause of community gardening throughout North Carolina. Past and present advisers range widely, from extension, health, and academic professionals to entrepreneurs, artists, and rank-and-file community gardeners. They share in common a passion for community gardening and find strength, creativity, and friendship through their diversity. You will find the current advisors listed below.

Consensus is the primary method of decision-making on the committee and at all levels of NCCGP governance.

If you’re interested in serving on our Advisory Committee, please contact an advisor. We invite you to join a growing organization and a fun group of people passionate about supporting community gardens in North Carolina. We need your ideas, your expertise, your time, and your passion to make our work even more successful and meaningful.

Serving as an advisor is a non-paying, volunteer activity.
