Craven County Cropmasters Experimental Garden

The Cropmaster Garden is tended primarily by Master Gardener Volunteers but welcomes anyone with an interest in vegetable gardening.  The garden has a four part mission of experimentation, education, demonstration and donation with an added focus on camaraderie.  The gardeners meet every Wednesday morning of the year (except during extreme weather) to tend the garden and learn from each other.  Everyone helps to tend the rows with some gardeners additionally working on special projects.  The 1000 - 4500 lbs of produce harvested annually is mostly donated to local charities.
