Located in a beautiful historic site on the banks of Hitchcock Creek, this garden is on the old foundation of Pee Dee #1 textile mill. Raised bed garden plots are offered to neighbors and interested people in the community. The garden location is on City of Rockingham property and is a popular access point for HItchcock Creek and includes a pavilion and ruins of the old mill. Funding for this garden was provided by a Nourishing NC Grant in 2013.
