Sylva Community Garden

The Sylva Community Garden was formed in 2003, with individual plots alloted in 2006. The garden is a volunteer led, organic, donation-based garden comprised of 21 plots and located on privately owned land. We provide all tools, equipment and materials for our gardeners. Plots cost no money to adopt. Instead, we charge our members one half of their produce, which we donate to our the Community Table of Sylva, a local soup kitchen and food bank. We hold regular workdays every Thursday evening. The garden is always open for visitors, but please stay on the paths.
