The Farm 4-H Club is located at a 17-acre farm nestled against the Neuse River. The club teaches youth ages 5-18 about sustainable and regenerative farming practices. We learn how to grow our own food as well as other farming skills like building and repairing water and irrigation systems, tractor maintenance, soil and water management, entrepreneurship, protecting and creating pollinator habitats and more! The Farm Club also provides a green escape for youth and families who may not enjoy access to green space in their own neighborhoods. We enjoy some of the fruits (and vegetables) of our labor at the farm, sell some to local buyers, and donate some to local food banks or pantries. The club meets twice a month and other youth organizations and new members are always welcome to join!
