The Garden of Concord, is an extension ministry of Concord UMC, dedicated to feeding the hungry in our community through the sharing
of its harvests. Established in 2009, the garden has grown to over 50 member families, 1/2 acre of all organic plantings to include 40 raised beds of seasonal vegetables, blueberry bushes,grapevines, cut flower gardens, a shade house, children’s garden and play area, workshops, celebration meal gatherings, a brick pizza oven, and “Kidz Thyme”! Only $10 per season to join or $25 for all three (spring, summer,fall). Work one hour per week for a share of the day’s harvest (Tues/Thurs 5:30-7:30, Saturdays 9-noon).
